Lovingly handcrafted in Argentina The Gent is an hommage to Giuseppe (Nino) Farina another racing hero from our time capsule who, for many, came to define the very idea of the Gentleman Racer, talented at most sports (and many other activities) while (more than) willing to risk it all for greater glory. Italian, he won the first F1 world championship title (with Alfa Romeo) and displayed through his entire racing career a driving style that was as unique as his helmet.
This model is extra-special as the shell of the helmet, rather than being molded from resin and fibers, is entirely made of cow’s leather than has been tirelessly worked on to secure that flawless pearl color. The inside is lined with natural cork of 3 mm (0.11 in) thickness. All straps and padding are also crafted from the finest real cow leather with aged metal buckles. The Gent has its Suixtillogo stamped on the back leather strap with nothing else disturbing its perfect lines – that’s until you start putting the proper scuffs on it, of course….
This beautiful piece is sure to attract a lot of attention with its gorgeous patina and is crafted to the highest standard. It arrives nicely packed in a linen bag that you can use whenever taking the helmet to a track day or an event.
The Gent comes in 3 sizes (thanks to an easy to install foam adjustment ring) that accommodates head sizes from 56 to 64 cm (22 to 25.5′) and is delivered by courier within 7 days of its order.
